Annabel - 18 months

Oh what a year and a half it has been with this little lady! And because I'm a sucker for comparisons... My sweet girl. She is the definition of sugar and spice, and I love every ounce of her. Since I haven't really captured much about her lately, here it goes: Annabel is a full-fledged toddler, climbing chairs to reach light switches, running around outdoors, wanting to walk up the stairs with minimal help, ordering us around, refusing to follow the rules, throwing some pretty epic tantrums... my baby is no more. Life Lately

I no longer have my monthly posts to capture life (with my littlest, anyway) so it’s about time for another ‘Life Lately.’ Life lately. It’s really good. The obsession with having something in her ...

Although many (MANY) of the nights felt like the longest, and not because I was in glorious slumber, the time did go fast. Timehop is now reminding me of newborn photos that I posted a year ago and my heart is aching a little for that time back. Of course, those photos don't reflect the agony I was in with breastfeeding a baby with a tongue tie, or the tears I shared with my children when both of them were wailing for me at the same time. Truth be told, I am happy to be out of the newborn/little baby phase ONLY because of that hard stuff. The snuggles, the baby wearing, the sweet smell, the milestones, staying where you leave them...it was lovely. But the hard stuff was hard. So I'm ready to see what's next! In her final month of her first year, Annabel finally became mobile. She's a pro at crawling and climbing stairs, as ...
